The Augusta, GA Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center is searching for a BE/BC Neurologist to join their dynamic healthcare team.

• Full spectrum of diagnosing and managing patients with neurological diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Position has an educational component with regular interactions with students and residents as inpatient consultants as well as in the Neurology clinic setting.
• Consults with Primary Care physicians and other specialists to ensure that patients receive appropriate continuous care.

• Academic appointment commensurate with qualifying experience.
• Experience in performing/interpreting electroencephalogram (EEG) is preferred.
• Required Skills:
  
  Qualifications include U.S. citizenship, medical degree from an approved school, and licensure requirements as specified below.
• For residents, graduation from an approved medical school is required.

• Licensure and Registration:
  Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia. May be waived if serving outside the United States and licensure exists in that country.
• Physical Standards:
  Applicants must meet physical standards established for this position.
• English Language Proficiency:
  Proficient in spoken and written English for direct patient care positions.

Salary Range:
Up to $195,000 per year.
