Rhino Medical is seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for a high-volume, Level II Trauma Center in Augusta, GA. This locum tenens opportunity offers flexible shift options, premium compensation, and a high-performing ED team.
Opportunity Snapshot- Schedule:
6 physician shifts and 5 APP shifts per day (20 shifts per month coverage needed, flexible scheduling) - Shift Times (MD): 6:30 AM‑6:30 PM, 10:00 AM‑6:00 PM, 12:00 PM‑10:00 PM, 2:00 PM‑10:00 PM, 6:00 PM‑2:00 AM, 9:00 PM‑7:00 AM
- Shift Times (APP): 6:00 AM‑4:00 PM, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM, 12:00 PM‑10:00 PM, 5:00 PM‑3:00 AM, 8:00 PM‑6:00 AM
- Patient Volume: ~54,000 annual visits; ~1.6 patients per hour
- ED Beds: 30, plus PIT area and sub‑waiting area
- Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
- EMR:
Meditech
- Active Georgia medical license
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM only)
- Minimum 1 year of recent EM experience post‑residency
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
