Ophthalmologist

This facility is seeking a locum tenens ophthalmologist to provide 24-hour call coverage in Augusta, Georgia. The clinician will handle inpatient and emergency department ophthalmology services, including trauma and burn injury evaluations alongside non-surgical ophthalmic treatments. On-site support staff, including Trauma Nurses, Burn Nurses, and Trauma M.D.'s, are available to ensure coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trauma and burn injury evaluation
