Minimum Qualifications
This position will oversee all day-to-day tasks of a project with the goal of establishing an improved vegetation management regime for the southeast region Navy airfields by identifying airfield cover plants that are not attractive to birds and other wildlife.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Data analysis, literature review, and writing – 50% of time
- Experimental setup and data collection – 20% of time
- Purchasing supplies and equipment as instructed and organizing correspondence with collaborators – 15% of time
- Plant and animal husbandry – 10% of time
- Writing and acquisition of permits – 5% of time
