Senior Project Manager - Water​/Wastewater

Ardurra is looking to hire an experienced Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager to join our team in our Augusta, GA office
.

Our innovative water and wastewater engineers collaborate closely with clients to plan, design, permit, and construct systems that address their needs comprehensively. This approach allows our clients to make smarter investments, resulting in lower life cycle costs and additional benefits.

As a recognized leader in the Southeast water industry, our projects encompass treatment and infrastructure initiatives for municipal and institutional clients. Our work ranges from drinking water supply to water reuse and wastewater management. We have the capability to support projects of all sizes within a flexible and innovative team environment.

This position will be expected to plan, design, and manage multidiscipline projects consisting of water/wastewater collection/distribution systems and treatment for municipal and institutional clients across the region.

Responsible for performing or managing the technical design and/or hydraulic modeling requirements on water/wastewater projects. Experience managing a team of engineers, EITs, designers, and sub-consultants to successfully execute these types of projects is preferred.

The role will develop and assist with the preparation of statements of qualifications and proposals, interact with and be responsive to client needs, and negotiate contracts.

• Manage multiple design consultants to complete detailed and permitted construction plans
• During project startup understand the client s critical success factors and prepare an effective project management plan
• Responsible for project administration in the project management system (including accurately placing the project setup information)
• Ensure all team members understand their role on the project, the tasks to be accomplished, and the schedule and budget
• Be available to mentor junior staff and consult with the principal in charge for guidance
• Monitor progress of scope, budget, schedule, and quality/performance during project execution
• Conduct monthly project reviews with the project client and/or principal in charge, and seek periodic guidance
• Provide project team leadership and be accountable for technical, financial, and schedule delivery excellence
• Deliver service to the client and maintain client relations
• Oversee all aspects of the project from initiation through closeout
• Manage risk and proactive change management
• Ensure prompt invoicing and collection
• Develop innovative solutions to add value to clients that differentiate Ardurra
• Market to existing clients through project performance, expanding contract scope, and identifying new opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
• Professional Engineer preferred
• Approximately 15 years of experience
