This
Aircraft Electrician
will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems and components on a variety of corporate aircraft. This individual will perform O-level maintenance on aircraft flight controls, landing gear, lighting systems, batteries, and generators. - Perform functional and operational checkouts of electrical instruments and flight systems upon aircraft arrival and prior to aircraft departure.
- Troubleshoot landing gear switches that indicate gear position, as well as various exterior lighting issues such as navigation, taxi lights, strobes, and landing lights.
- Pinpoint and resolve electrical problems relating to engine/APU starting or the generation of electrical power from an engine/APU.
- Performs functional and operational “checkouts” of electrical instruments and flight systems upon aircraft arrival and prior to departure.
- Maintains battery shop equipment and ensures that aircraft batteries are properly charged in a timely manner.
- Updates technical manuals to include the latest wiring manual revisions.
- Assists in installing various avionics systems on corporate aircraft.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Aircraft Electrician.
- Previous experience inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing corporate aircraft electronic systems.
- Must be able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid FAA Airframe Certification
- Minimum 3 years of O-level electrical troubleshooting experience
- Previous experience with Gulfstream, Falcon, Embraer, Challenger, and/or Hawker aircraft.
- Experienced troubleshooting flight controls, landing gear, fuel indicators, lighting and generators.
