DCS Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for two DCS Engineers supporting a specialty polymer manufacturing client, sitting in Augusta, GA. One of these openings is net new, supporting the battery plant expansion at the Augusta site. The 2ndopening is a backfill, supporting an already existing unit, focusing on batch production. They will be in charge of owning and developing the DCS system and network, particularly Emerson Delta

V. Both are responsible for troubleshooting, monitoring, upgrades, and improvements of the DCS system.

The current team is made up of 3 DCS Engineers and 2 Industrial IT Support Specialists.

Skills and Requirements

Computer Science/Chemical Engineering Degree

5 years of experience as a Process Control Engineer (aka DCS Engineer) with experience in DCS (Delta V, APACs, Siemens PCS7)

Write and maintain scripting languages for the DCS

Digital Control System (DCS) configuration and programming experience

Develop S88 compliant batch programs (program language for mainly PLC's) - this is only applicable to the backfill opening, not the opening supporting the new expansion null
