Floor Staff team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and/or employee availability as variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular or full‑time hourly employees. Their primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Floor Staff may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher.

• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Handling emergency situations when called upon.
• General cleaning duties.
• Compliance with company dress code and employee conduct.
• Box Office:
  • Operate POS system, manage cash drawer, credit cards, traveler’s checks, gift cards and redeem discounted tickets and coupons accurately.
  • Upsell/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
  • Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Ensure tickets sold in accordance with MPAA rating system and company policy.
  • Respond to phone calls and guest questions consistently with guest service philosophy.
• Concession:
  • Operate POS system and maintain accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, traveler’s checks, gift cards and rebates.
  • Promote Regal Crown Club program.
  • Prepare and clean concession equipment and manage inventory.
  • Comply with food safety laws.
  • Ensure alcohol certification and training are current (if applicable).
• Usher:
  • Distribute tickets, manage stubs, and direct patrons to auditoriums.
  • Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
  • Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
  • Enforce MPAA rating system and conduct theatre inspections for picture/sound quality.
  • Report problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management.
  • Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
  • Clean auditoriums, restrooms, lobby areas, and monitor vending equipment.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned by management.

• Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress toward completion.
• If alcohol is sold, completion of required state/local alcohol training and Regal Entertainment Responsible Beverage Server training.
• Strong public speaking, listening, and clear direct communication skills.
• Strong math ability: perform calculations with speed and accuracy, identify and correct errors.
• Reasoning ability: identify problems, gather relevant data, evaluate solutions, and take action under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, coworkers, and management; ability to set priorities and achieve objectives.
• Physical demands: stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, occasional lifting up to 60 lbs; vision requirements include near, distance, peripheral, depth perception.
• Smoke‑free facility.
