Physician Assistant

Overview

Kids Street Urgent Care in Augusta, GA is expanding and seeks a full‑time Physician Assistant (PA) to provide patient‑focused care in a fast‑paced urgent care environment. The role welcomes new graduates and offers comprehensive training, mentorship, and ongoing professional development to support career growth.

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID‑19, and other upper respiratory illnesses.
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal.
• Suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluation/management.
• Review and over‑read x‑rays with a radiologist.
• Provide general dermatology care, eye problem assessment, and EKG interpretation.
• Execute emergency management skills and general GYN expertise.
• Treat patients of all ages, including pediatric care.
• Manage occupational medicine and telemedicine appointments.

Kids Street Clinic

Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Rotating schedule (every other weekend):

• Week 1:
  Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON).
• Week 2:
  Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher education (new graduate friendly).
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (cost covered).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite.
