20835 - APP Nephrology Opportunity at Wellstar Health System
Wellstar Health System, one of the largest and most respected health systems in Georgia, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Nephrology team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Position Responsibilities- Deliver inpatient and consultative Nephrology care, including management of acute and chronic kidney disease
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in daily rounds, patient education, and care coordination
- Support quality improvement initiatives within the department and across the health system
- Current licensure (or eligibility) in the State of Georgia as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Nurse Practitioners must hold an Acute Care certification (ACNP) – required for inpatient practice
- Experience or strong interest in Nephrology preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
