Augusta Hearing & Balance in Augusta, GA is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with hearing loss. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) to join our growing practice. This opportunity offers a balanced schedule, caring for patients four (4) days per week with full‑time compensation.

Our mission is to help patients reconnect with life’s genuine moments through better hearing. Providers will have access to the industry’s latest technology and research‑backed solutions to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care. During the annual Masters Golf Tournament, the practice operates on a reduced schedule with no routine patient appointments, allowing time for administrative focus and clinic support.

You will conduct thorough assessments, provide counseling, fit and calibrate hearing aids, and maintain the quality of care our patients have come to expect. We also offer the potential to administer telehealth services, enabling us to reach patients who may not be able to visit in person.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments:
  Perform various hearing tests to assess patients’ hearing abilities and the degree of hearing loss.
• Diagnose and educate:
  Based on test results, diagnose hearing or balance disorders and communicate findings with patients, educating them about their condition and treatment options.
• Hearing aid fitting and calibration:
  Select, fit, and program hearing aids based on the patient’s unique hearing profile, optimizing sound quality for the best possible hearing experience.
• Maintenance and repair:
  Perform in‑house hearing aid maintenance or repair services in collaboration with manufacturers to ensure ongoing patient satisfaction.
• Patient education and counseling:
  Counsel patients and their families on hearing conservation strategies, communication techniques, and improving their quality of life despite hearing or balance challenges.
• Lead the practice:
  Provide leadership and direction for the practice, ensuring high standards of care and building a strong patient–provider relationship.

Competitive salary based on experience – Audiologist: $85,000–$98,000+ | HIS: $70,000–$80,000+ (Full‑Time, 4 Days/Week with Full‑Time Pay)

• Doctorate (Au.D.) or Master’s degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Audiology preferred.
• Active or eligible Georgia Audiology license (licensure assistance provided if out of state).
• Strong diagnostic and hearing aid software/product knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping patients.

• Valid Georgia Hearing Aid Dispensing License.
• Proven clinical proficiency and familiarity with major hearing aid manufacturers.
• Strong interpersonal, sales, and closing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Time Off:
Two (2) weeks paid vacation, eight (8) paid holidays.
