ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR – Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta

Location:

Augusta, GA

Salary: $70,000.00–$90,000.00

Overview

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta is a psychiatric facility located in Augusta, GA providing therapeutic services for more than 15 years. The 84‑bed facility delivers individualized programs for adolescents and adults, staffed by experienced medical professionals.

Responsibilities

The Admissions Coordinator supports all aspects of intake and admission processes. Key duties include:

  • Maintaining daily census records.
  • Entering all intake and admission data into the hospital computer database.
  • Handling intake calls and verifying insurance benefits.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources.
  • Reviewing clinicals for new patients, completing assessments, and processing walk‑in inquiries.

Qualifications

Education and/or

Experience:

Master’s degree and at least two years of experience in counseling or behavioral health (counseling, social work, sociology or psychology) or a related field with intake and admissions experience. LPNs and RNs are also encouraged to apply with valid licensure.
