Lead Medical Support Assistant

This position is located in Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Serves as a Lead Medical Support Assistant responsible for the performance of a variety of substantive duties in support of the Centralized Call Center.

Specialized

Experience:

• 1.) working in a call center environment;
• 2.) scheduling patient appointments for primary and specialty clinics;
• 3.) providing information and assistance to patients and clinical staff.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
