Physical Therapy Assistant; PRN

Provides outpatient physical therapy services as a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), collaborating under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to restore or improve patients’ mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion. The role offers up to 20 hours per week, primarily on weekdays, with potential weekend shifts, and focuses on delivering quality, cost-effective care while ensuring regulatory compliance.

• Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities, and adjust goals in collaboration with the Physical Therapist and patient/family.
• Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and refer to community resources.
• Document treatment sessions accurately, complete required reports, and maintain compliance with departmental standards.
• Adhere to ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, and ensure punctuality and professionalism.
• Foster a positive environment, demonstrate excellent customer service, and promote teamwork.
• Participate in professional development, mandatory education, and orientation activities to maintain licensure and skills.

• High School Diploma and Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed PTA and BLS certification required upon hire.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, adhere to ethical standards, and provide compassionate patient care.
