American Cruise Lines provides a temporary Housekeeper position for the 2026 season. The role lasts 28 weeks onboard a shipboard hotel, where you will serve guests with outstanding hospitality and represent the brand.
PayWages range from $1,000 to $1,400 per week, with additional bonuses.

- Create and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests.
- Prioritize comfort and cleanliness in staterooms, facilities, and common areas.
- Greet guests by name and respond promptly to housekeeping inquiries and service requests according to company standards.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies.
- Clean spills with appropriate equipment and notify managers of necessary maintenance requests.
- Collect and dispose of trash.
- Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces.
- Build genuine relationships with guests and attend to all housekeeping requests efficiently.
- Perform additional functions as required, such as greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events, including afternoon tea, snacks, and evening cocktail parties.
- Pay – Wages range from $1,000 to $1,400 per week with additional bonuses.
- Hospitality Experience – This is an introductory position to the cruise industry and a strong foundation for a career in hospitality.
- Covered Expenses – American Cruise Lines provides travel to and from your assigned vessel, room and board, uniforms, and paid training.
- Travel the Country – We have over 50 itineraries spanning over 35 states in America.
- Crew Connections – Create lifelong memories and relationships with fellow crew members and guests from all over the country.
- At least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
- Willing and able to work a minimum of twelve (12) hours per day, seven (7) days a week, for up to twenty-eight (28) weeks.
- Must be able to meet moderate physical demands, including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Pre-employment drug test required, testing for marijuana and other controlled substances.
- Consumption of alcohol strictly prohibited.
- Visible tattoos and piercings subject to grooming standards.
- Temporary employment position not to extend beyond twenty-eight (28) weeks of shipboard work.
- Employees encouraged to apply for management positions within the company, but such positions cannot be expected or guaranteed.
