Systems Engineer

Overview

Peraton seeks a Systems Engineer to support network defense efforts by providing engineering and planning support to ARCYBER G36.

Location:

Fort Gordon, GA.

Tasks include:

• Maintain artifacts for accreditation as a CSSP
• Develop and maintain documentation for activities as required
• Support services to assess the technical viability of cyber programs and related efforts
• Maintain/update the network architecture topology diagrams to reflect the current network
• Assist in the design, migration, implementation, enhancement, optimization, and maintenance of infrastructure.
• Identify and assess gaps in cyberspace operations capabilities and security posture and develop solutions as required

Required:

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA;
  Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA;
  Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider an associate degree with 10 years or 12 years of experience.
• Experience with maintaining and updating network architecture topology diagrams to reflect the current network
• Familiar with Army DODIN-A operations
• Knowledgeable of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPNs, Load Balancers, and Project Manager (PM) Tactical Network
• U.S Citizenship Required
• Active TS SCI clearance with ability to obtain Polygraph

Desired:

• IA certifications such as CCNP, CASP+ or IAT Level III
• TS SCI w/Polygraph

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
