Job Summary

Highly skilled bioinformatics analyst with expertise in scRNA-seq, bulk RNA-seq analysis, spatial transcriptomics, and multi‑omics integration in cancer genomics.

Responsibilities
  • Developing Pathways: The candidate will be responsible for developing reproducible pipelines for differential expression, pathway enrichment, and immune deconvolution, supporting cancer biomarker discovery and drug response analysis. Proficiency in Python (pandas, Tensor Flow, MATLAB), R, and SQL (including query optimization and indexing) is required, along with experience in data cleaning, signal preprocessing, and feature extraction, with emphasis on maximizing data fidelity and algorithmic efficiency.
  • Designing Programs: Designing and maintaining robust ETL frameworks (Pentaho, Airflow) and deploying solutions on cloud platforms (GCP, Docker, Big Query), ensuring secure data integration and role-based access control.
  • Tracking Data: Demonstrate a track record across all stages of the data lifecycle, from collection and preprocessing to feature engineering, model development, training, evaluation, deployment, and the integration of interactive dashboards into unified front‑end platforms.

Required Qualifications
  • Educational Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree 3 years of experience in data analytics, information systems, and/or institutional research in higher education.
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Ability to use sound judgement and work independently
    • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
Shift / Salary / Benefits

Shift: Days/M-F (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)

Pay Band: B12

Salary Range: $62,300.00 / annually – $72,000 / annually

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum‑midpoint) of the position.
