ALTERNATE EXPERIENCEGeneral comment on degrees:
Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers
- Monitor system performance and ensure uptime
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Troubleshoot and resolve server issues
- Implement and maintain security updates
- Create and maintain system documentation
- Proficiency with Linux command-line tools
- Experience with shell scripting
- Knowledge of server virtualization
- Familiarity with configuration management tools
- Understanding of file systems and storage
- Ability to monitor system logs effectively
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP)
- Knowledge of security hardening practices
- Experience with high-availability environments
