KEY SUMMARYWe are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Engineer / Systems Administrator (SA) to join our team and play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.
- Design, configure, and manage network infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain server performance and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues
- Implement and maintain system security protocols
- Manage system backups and disaster recovery plans
- Ensure compliance with IT standards and policies
- Proficiency in network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Knowledge of server administration (e.g., Linux, Windows)
- Expertise in configuring and managing firewalls
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware)
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Ability to manage Active Directory and related services
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
- Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker)
- Understanding of Dev Ops practices
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Power Shell)
- Experience with advanced network troubleshooting tools
