Test Engineer LOCATIO KEY SUMMARYWe are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Test Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Bachelor's Degree DEGREE (Focus)
Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Robotics, Information Systems, ect. ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE General comment on degrees:
Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases
- Identify, document, and track defects in the system
- Collaborate with developers to understand system functionality
- Develop and maintain test documentation
- Ensure test coverage and adherence to project requirements
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improving quality
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium)
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, integration)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Ability to design and implement test cases for various software components
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools
- Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman)
- Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries
- Experience with mobile application testing
- Proficiency in scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
