Data Conditioning Systems Engineer LOCATION Fort Eisenhower, GA 30905 CLEARANCE TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship) KEY SUMMARYWe are seeking a skilled Data Conditioning Systems Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of data across our systems. Bachelor's Degree DEGREE (Focus)
Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Operations Research, ect. ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE General comment on degrees:
Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement data conditioning workflows
- Develop and optimize ETL processes
- Collaborate with teams to identify data transformation needs
- Ensure data quality and consistency across systems
- Document system configurations and processes
- Monitor and troubleshoot data conditioning pipelines
- Proficiency in data transformation tools like Talend or Apache Ni Fi
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
- Familiarity with data validation and cleansing techniques
- Knowledge of data integration strategies
- Ability to optimize data workflows for performance
- Experience with cloud data services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory)
- Knowledge of data governance best practices
- Familiarity with real-time data processing systems
- Understanding of big data platforms like Hadoop or Spark
- Experience with data encryption and security protocols
- Ability to integrate machine learning models into workflows
