Overview
The Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure and resilient network infrastructure in support of the Army's Project Manager Network Modernization (PdM Net Mod) program. This role ensures the reliability and performance of network systems while integrating cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities- Design, configure, and deploy network solutions to support mission-critical operations.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Implement security measures and protocols to protect network integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new network technologies.
- Develop documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or other enterprise networking solutions.
- Security+ or Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) preferred.
- Active Secret Clearance
- 90k to 120k
