Qualifications:

• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (documentation required)
• Full-time availability for the entirety of the contract period
• Previous experience interpreting in educational or school-based settings strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate with educators and staff to accurately interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and school activities
• Additional licensure or credential requirements may apply, to be confirmed prior to start

Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate clear, effective communication between Deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their teachers, peers, and school staff
• Accurately interpret classroom instruction, educational materials, school events, and other learning activities on-site
• Support student participation and engagement by providing interpretation in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure delivery of appropriate accommodations as outlined on student plans
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while adhering to established ethical and industry standards
