• Assistant salon managers can earn on average $13.00–$17.00+ per hour (base pay + up to 12% commission + monthly bonus). Top-performing managers can earn even more.

• Assist the salon manager with recruiting, selecting and orienting salon staff.
• Train, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to sales staff to achieve sales goals and other performance criteria.
• Schedule and assign employees, following up on work results, and manage company operational requirements.
• Monitor controllable expenses such as labor, cost of sales, and other expenses to achieve financial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements to maintain salon stability and reputation.
• Ensure salons are clean, adequately stocked, organized, well-kept and customer-ready.
• Establish rapport with customers, building loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyze daily sales and expense information, performing financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits.
• Safeguard and account for all money received, and be responsible for banking requirements.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• One-year supervisory experience.
• Ability to positively influence others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods, for 7+ hours per day.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

$13–$18+ per hour (base pay + up to 12% commission + monthly bonus)
