As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you are responsible for triage, assessment, and treatment of patients of all ages presenting for emergency care. Our services include care for broken bones, heart attack, and stroke. We seek passionate nurses committed to patient care.

• Document pertinent nursing notes including condition changes, transfers, and discharges.
• Administer medications as per physician orders.
• Respond to and refer incoming calls, including phone triage when needed.
• Ensure efficient throughput in all care zones such as triage, rapid treatment, carepath, pediatric ER, trauma, behavioral health.
• Coordinate and triage ambulance traffic.
• Manage care with primary ED attending.
• Understand and use the Emergency Severity Index 5-level triage algorithm.
• Respond to critical needs and serve as a trauma resource nurse.
• Manage critical situations and make care decisions.
• Educate patients on medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support throughout their stay.

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing school;
  Associate's Degree or higher required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in your practicing state or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• Current AHA or Red Cross BLS certification.
• Preferred and within 12 months of hire: AHA or Red Cross ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Previous ER, pre-hospital, or critical care RN experience preferred.
