Location: Clayton RYDC, Martha K Glaze (Located in Clayton County), 11850 Hastings Bridge Road, Hampton, GA 30228

Full/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Base rate: $39.50 per hour, 41 paid days off per year

About Us: Augusta University is Georgia's innovation center for education and health care, training the next generation of innovators, leaders, and healthcare providers. Established in 2017, the Department of Juvenile Justice Health Services was formed through a collaboration between Augusta University Health System and the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice to deliver high‑quality health services to justice‑involved youth in 25 facilities.

Duties to include but are not limited to:

• Under the general direction of the Lead Nurse, responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Guide patient teaching, nursing activities, and ancillary personnel.
• Promote a customer‑friendly environment and provide superior service to youth, facility staff, family, and outside vendors.

• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia.
• One year of previous experience in a clinical setting.
• Good organizational and decision‑making skills; good physical and mental health; able to work under pressure; must relate well to patients, security staff, visitors, and co‑workers.
• Functions within the Georgia Board of Nursing Patient Practice Act.
• Current Health Care Provider BCLS Certification obtained through American Heart or Red Cross Program.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, reach, stoop, stand, and sit for long periods; must move quickly in emergencies (within 4 minutes); normal hearing and vision or with corrective appliances; able to perform BCLS.
• Security Clearance by the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice.
