American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry role with night shifts and adult‑geriatrics patient care in Georgia.

• Work in a Cardiac Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions
• Handle post‑MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, peripheral vascular disease, and peritoneal dialysis cases
• Patient ratios are 1:5 with a 16‑bed unit and average daily census of 16
• Use telemetry, EKG, Doppler equipment, and Pyxis system
• Document using Epic EMR (Epic experience required)
• Night shifts: 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• Floating required to other cardiac telemetry or appropriate units as needed
• No on‑call responsibilities
• Provide specialized care for cardiac patients including monitoring and interpreting telemetry
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off for assignment; no RTO allowed during first week
• Six weekend shifts required per 6‑week schedule period
• Holiday work required based on number of major holidays within assignment period
• Full compliance required prior to start; orientation may be pushed back if not met
• First time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning employees must have been away for at least one full year from all Piedmont facilities to be eligible

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 1 year of recent cardiac telemetry RN experience
• Experience with SBAR communication and Pyxis is preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to perform telemetry, EKG, and peritoneal dialysis tasks
