The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing
What You Will Do- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop or implement nursing policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate medical records and documentation review
- Coordinate with physicians to provide optimal patient care
- Oversee shift management to maintain adequate staffing levels
- Uphold resident rights and ensure ethical standards are met
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to assess patient conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain compliance with State, Federal, Joint Commission, and HIPAA regulations
Provide expertise in hospice care and acute care services - Duties as assigned
- Registered Nurse with at least 5 years nursing home experience, 2 years as DON
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- In-depth knowledge of medical records management
- Proficiency in shift management and scheduling
- Familiarity with supervising nursing staff and collaborating with physicians
- Understanding of resident rights and ethical practices
- Comprehensive anatomy knowledge for patient assessment
- Experience in hospice care and acute care settings
