School-Based Registered Nurse; RN Evans

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students who require specialized nursing care in an educational setting. A dedicated Registered Nurse is needed to provide essential onsite health services to a small caseload of students with critical, complex, and medically fragile needs during the school year. This full-time, contract opportunity runs through late May 2027, offering the chance to build relationships and provide continuity of care.

• Current, active Georgia RN license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in pediatric or school-based nursing (preferred)
• Demonstrated expertise supporting medically fragile students
• Proficiency with G-tube feedings, trach care, and suctioning (preferred)
• Familiarity with seizure or epilepsy management (preferred)
• Availability for full-time onsite hours: 8:10 AM 4:10 PM, Monday through Friday

• Provide direct nursing care for 510 students with a range of medical complexities
• Perform G-tube feedings, management of trach-dependent students, suctioning, and monitor for seizure activity or other urgent health needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to individualized healthcare plans
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure student safety and well-being
• Maintain accurate health records, document care provided, and communicate updates as needed
• Promote and uphold health and safety standards within the school environment
