Charge Nurse; RN; Acute Care Medicine

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care as part of the patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.

• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions to develop and execute care plans, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
• Act as a patient advocate by addressing concerns, educating families, and enhancing patient and family satisfaction.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing ideas for process enhancements and patient outcomes.
• Maintain professional competence through ongoing education, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations.
• Support professional growth by mentoring colleagues and fostering a positive work environment.
• Adhere to organizational policies, confidentiality, safety standards, and shared governance principles.

Minimum education includes an Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Nursing degree. Required certifications include BLS and RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact).

Perform other assigned duties and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on excellence and compassion.
