Role: Staff nurse providing comprehensive nursing care across all ages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to organizational policies
- Maintain standards of practice and demonstrate professional growth and accountability
- Provide quality nursing care to diverse patient populations from birth through adulthood
- Graduate from a nursing program;
Bachelor's degree preferred - New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred; minimum 1 year for PRN positions
- Current Georgia RN license or multistate license (NLC/eNLC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Certifications:
Depending on specialty, may require ACLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, Dialysis Certification, or other advanced credentials, with specific timelines for new specialty nurses.
