This role seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse with psychiatric experience for a contract assignment. You will be part of a supportive interdisciplinary team delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Qualifications:- Active and unencumbered RN license
- At least one year of recent experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies
- Ability to perform thorough mental health assessments
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- BLS certification required; additional psychiatric certifications a plus
Hours:
- Contract assignment with variable shifts available
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness and side effects
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members
- Offer education and emotional support to patients and their families
- Employ therapeutic communication and maintain a safe, structured environment
Accurately document patient care and progress per regulatory and facility standards - Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and treatment planning discussions

$1,776 - $1,873/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
