Overview
The Landscape Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations on landscape projects, managing crews, ensuring quality work, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on experience in landscaping, and the ability to manage time and resources efficiently.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of landscape installation and maintenance crews
- Interpret landscape plans and ensure projects are executed to specification
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
- Manage crew performance, delegate tasks, and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members
- Monitor job progress, manage materials, and keep accurate records of hours and materials used
- Train new crew members and promote a positive team environment
- 3+ years of landscape experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of landscape installation (planting, hardscaping, irrigation, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret landscape blueprints and site plans
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs regularly
Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly
