Job SummaryJoin our dynamic research team in Dr. Rafael Czepielewski’s lab. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or M.D. with a strong background in mouse models, immunology, or molecular biology to explore the functional roles of lymphatic vasculature and immune cells.
Key research areas include lymphatic molecular remodeling in IBD immunity, formation and repercussions of tertiary lymphoid structures, and intestinal antigen responses in disrupted gut‑to‑lymph‑node communication. Techniques will involve molecular biology, cell culture, flow cytometry, whole‑mount imaging, tissue clearing, intravital imaging, histology, and RNA‑sequencing.
Responsibilities- Designing and conducting independent experiments aligned with the research group’s objectives.
- Maintaining, organizing, and ensuring adequate status of reagents, cells, and mouse colonies.
- Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to generate high‑quality research findings.
- Preparing manuscripts for peer‑review publication and presenting findings at conferences.
- Engaging with mentor on research matters and participating in departmental seminars and meetings.
- Contributing to grant proposals and pursuing external funding.
- Assisting in the supervision and mentoring of co‑workers and students.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
- Ph.D. from an accredited college or university.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn other software/databases.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong prioritization, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to work with research animals.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision.
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday (outside normal business hours may be required).
Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications within the established range, generally minimum‑midpoint of the position.
Benefits:
