Sales Coordinator

The Partridge Inn | Curio Collection by Hilton

Augusta, Georgia | Full-Time

Join Our Team at The Partridge Inn!

At The Partridge Inn, we believe hospitality is more than a job — it's a passion. As one of Augusta's most iconic historic hotels and a proud member of Hilton's Curio Collection, we take pride in creating memorable experiences, building meaningful relationships, and delivering exceptional Southern hospitality.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and motivated Sales Coordinator to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in making the little details feel extraordinary.

Our ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, follows through on commitments, and understands that exceptional hospitality often means going above and beyond what is expected.

What You'll Do

As our Sales Coordinator, you will play an essential role in supporting the hotel's sales and catering efforts while helping ensure a seamless experience for our clients, groups, and event guests.

Sales & Administrative Support

  • Provide daily administrative and operational support to the Sales Department.
  • Respond to incoming sales inquiries in a timely, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Assist with preparing proposals, contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), group resumes, and other sales-related documents.
  • Maintain accurate client records, event details, room blocks, and sales activity within hotel systems.
  • Assist with tracking leads, following up on inquiries, and ensuring no potential business opportunity falls through the cracks.
  • Support the coordination of group reservations, rooming lists, and special requests.
  • Assist with preparing reports, maintaining sales calendars, and monitoring important deadlines.

Client Relations & Event Coordination

  • Serve as a welcoming and professional point of contact for prospective and existing clients.
  • Assist with coordinating weddings, social celebrations, corporate meetings, and group events.
  • Support site tours, client appointments, and event planning meetings.
  • Communicate event details and special requests clearly to the appropriate hotel departments.
  • Work closely with Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure client expectations are communicated and executed.
  • Help create personalized touches that make our clients and guests feel genuinely valued.

Sales Growth & Team Collaboration

  • Support the sales team in identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue.
  • Assist with prospecting, client outreach, and maintaining relationships with local businesses and organizations.
  • Help coordinate client appreciation initiatives, promotional activities, and special events.
  • Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and proactively identify ways to support the team.
What We're Looking For

The Right Personality Matters!

While previous hotel sales, catering, or event experience is certainly a plus, we believe the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A warm, professional, and outgoing personality.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
  • A proactive mindset — someone who sees what needs to be done and takes action.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with hotel sales or property management systems is a plus.
  • The ability to work independently while being a dependable and supportive team player.
  • A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, sales, event planning, customer service, or administrative support preferred but not required.
What Makes Someone Successful Here?

At The Partridge Inn, we take our culture seriously. We work hard, support one another, hold ourselves to high standards, and take pride in the experiences we create for our guests.

The person who will thrive in this position is someone who:

  • Understands that hospitality is about people, not just processes.
  • Doesn't wait to be asked to help.
  • Takes pride in accuracy, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Enjoys being part of a team where everyone contributes to the hotel's success.
