Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an experienced Field Mechanic based out of Augusta, GA. The successful candidate will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence, at least 3-5 years related experience, and must be able to weld.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum of 3-5 years related experience.
• Must be able to weld.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Special certificates required to work on air brakes or to be qualified to replace coolant in air conditioning systems.
• Must have a valid driver's license to drive mechanic truck.
• Medical Certificate (Med Card) is required for this position.

General Requirements

• Mechanics must supply their own tools.
• Must actively abide by the company's safety policies and procedures.

• Repair and maintain various types of heavy equipment and motor vehicles while adhering to all company safety policies.
• Proper completion of any required paperwork/records regarding repairs to equipment and vehicles on a timely basis.
• Must be able to carry out detailed instructions and take directions to job sites.
• Must be able to use good judgment in decision-making and be able to work with or without direct supervision.
