Job Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians in the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Learn and adhere to safety protocols and procedures on job sites.
- Carry tools and materials to and from the work area.
- Prepare and clean work areas before and after installations.
- Measure and cut pipes and ductwork to specified dimensions.
- Help in the assembly and installation of HVAC components and systems.
- Follow blueprints or technical drawings under supervision.
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment.
- Support in troubleshooting installation issues as directed.
- Participate in on-the-job training sessions to enhance technical skills.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Assist in the testing of installed HVAC systems for proper operation.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and materials.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in HVAC installation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Apprentice level pay range is 16-19 per hour.
Compensation details: 16-19 Hourly Wage
