Job SummaryWe are seeking an outpatient Clinic Manager/Physical Therapist who is engaging, approachable, and clinically driven, with the ability to lead and support a clinic team. This role combines direct patient care with day-to-day clinic management, focusing on exceptional clinical quality, operational efficiency, team development, and a positive patient experience.
Education and Experience- Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT)
- Current and active state physical therapy license
- Previous leadership or management experience is a plus, but not required
- Active listening and clear communication with patients and staff
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead, coach, and support a multidisciplinary team
- Organizational and time-management skills for balancing patient care and administrative duties
- Basic understanding of clinic operations, scheduling, and performance metrics
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and expectations
- Strong reading and writing skills for documentation and communication
- Professional judgment, accountability, and decision-making
- Service-oriented mindset with a focus on patient and team success
Job Duties
- Evaluate patients, identify movement or functional limitations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education, and physical agents as appropriate.
- Document evaluations, goals, progress, and treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care to maximize outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on home programs, condition management, and recovery expectations.
- Provide leadership and oversight of daily clinic operations, including scheduling, workflow, and patient flow.
- Support, train, and mentor clinic staff to promote professional growth and consistent clinical standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to meet clinic performance, quality, and patient satisfaction goals.
- Address patient concerns and ensure a positive, professional clinic environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and best clinical practices.
- Discharge patients when goals are met and provide recommendations or referrals as needed.
