** to join our Finance team and play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

** What You'll Do
** As a
** Senior Accountant,
** you'll support the financial management and operations of the credit union by maintaining accounting records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end closing activities. You'll also provide guidance and support to accounting team members while helping ensure accuracy and compliance across accounting functions.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Prepare and post journal entries.
* Reconcile general ledger accounts and credit union transaction accounts.
* Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.
* Process payments and verify financial information for accuracy.
* Prepare budget, income, expense, and other financial reports.
* Analyze accounting records and identify discrepancies or opportunities for improvement.
* Review accounting work for accuracy and completeness.
* Serve as a resource and mentor to team members on accounting processes and procedures.
* Assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives as assigned## Qualifications
** What We're Looking For
*** 3-5 years of accounting or related financial experience.
* Bachelor'sDegree Preferred
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet applications.
* Experience working with accounting systems and general ledger functions.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
** Compensation:
** 24/hr-30/hr, depending on experience
