Maine Public Employees Retirement System (Maine
PERS) seeks a Document Center Technician to join our Document Center Team. This position is responsible for processing incoming documents into the line of business imaging system for retention, retrieval, and triggering workflows to the business units. Other duties include responsibility for incoming/outgoing mail and providing support to business units in their daily work. The position is expected to transport mail, documents and other items to State of Maine offices, the U.S. Postal Service office, banks, and occasionally other local stops.
The work schedule for this position is 100% in-person in our Augusta office.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four (4) years of experience performing clerical or technical work OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to travel within the state; valid driver’s license and maintenance of a good driving record.
- Experience using and maintaining an electronic records imaging system.
- Associate’s degree in a related field.
