B.Arch in northern New England. The appointment would begin in the Spring 2026 semester

Position:
The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor to teach in-person in Augusta in the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) Program. Courses include ARC 241 and ARC 332 as listed below.
- Teach in-person in Augusta in the
B.Arch program and lead courses such as ARC 241:
Architectural Research and Analysis (lecture course focusing on academic research and precedent analysis, both written and graphic). - Provide instruction for ARC 332:
Construction Technique (lecture, drafting and sketching course covering construction processes and working drawings).
Architecture through Engagement:

Salary is per credit hour and commensurate with qualifications and experience, in accordance with the PATFA contract.
Qualifications- Required: A masters degree OR a professionally accredited degree, appropriate licensure, and professional experience in related fields.
- For ARC 241: capacity and interest to teach research and analysis (includes library research and precedent study).
- For ARC 332: capacity and interest to teach construction techniques, including new technologies such as Mass Timber.
- Teaching experience in higher education, including roles such as Graduate Assistant in an NAAB-accredited M.Arch program.
