Capital Area Technical Center (CATC), Augusta, Maine.

Job Description:

The CATC located in Augusta, Maine has an opening for an Automotive Technology Instructor to begin January 2026 or sooner.

• Certified or eligible for Maine Department of Education certification (805) and willing to obtain it.
• NAEFT or ACE credential or successful completion of NOCTI Automotive Technician 5262 assessment.
• Minimum of three years of successful experience in the automotive field within the last five years.
• Teaching and/or other experience working with students.
• Ability to work with CATC staff, high school students, and community groups.
• Good communication, organizational, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
