Designer - Transmission Lines; Augusta, ME

Overview

We are currently hiring a Designer in LaBella's Program Management Services Division at our client's office in Augusta, ME (hybrid work model).

The Program Management Services Division provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams offer a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.

Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $/yr

Salary range details and factors influencing offer are provided by the recruiter and may vary based on experience, education, and location.

• Support the conceptual engineering phase of the project.
• Support the detailed engineering phase by drafting key concepts needed to convey intent to the design engineer.
• Review a sample of drawings supplied by the detailed engineering firm to ensure compliance with Owner's CAD standards, including border and vision procedures, line and text style weights, fonts, heights, and overall drawing format issues.
• Ensure proper use of CAD layers in drawings and maintain proper filing of as-built drawing work for all projects.

• CAD experience with 5 years or more; associates degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with CAD standards.
