Job Description
Summary:
Maine General Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dedicated rehab team in a full-time role that offers both variety and meaningful patient impact. This position is a split between Glenridge and Acute Care Therapy at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.

Job Description:
What You’ll Do:
Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings
Document progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
Educate and support patients, caregivers, and families throughout the care continuum
Assist with discharge planning and recommend appropriate support resources
Supervise clinical fellows, students, and support staff as needed

What You Bring:
Maine State Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA (preferred, or earned within 1 year)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)
A strong clinical foundation and a thoughtful, collaborative approach
