    The Role:

    We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals seeking to make a difference in the field of radiology.

    The Work:

    • Reviewing patient history and physician's orders, while educating patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
    • Preparing and administering contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice, when ordered. Continuously monitoring patient condition and promptly reporting/responding to any changes in status.
    • Preparing equipment and supplies, selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implementing safety standards and performing quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshooting, resolving, and/or reporting equipment malfunctions as necessary.
    • Positioning patients and performing imaging procedures with accuracy and precision. Taking appropriate action to address image quality issues, including repositioning the patient and repeating the procedure if needed. Entering, transmitting, and reporting exam findings accurately.
    • Being flexible in terms of work assignments, as you may be assigned to a specific point-of-service location or a centralized deployable location. All staff members are expected to be capable of covering in any assigned area.

    You Have:

    • Interventional Radiology experience preferred
    • Radiological Technology School/Program beyond high school required;
      Associates degree preferred
    • Current State of Maine License for radiological Technology/Radiographer (RT) required
    • American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT) required
    • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
