Job Summary The State Government is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the Data Cataloging and Tagging Pilot. The selected candidate will manage project planning, scheduling, budgets, risks, stakeholder coordination, and deliverable acceptance. This role requires experience working with government agencies, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with State Project Management Office (PMO) standards.
Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of public-sector or government experience.
Strong experience in IT project management and project delivery.
Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and deliverables.
Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
Experience preparing executive reports and project status updates.
Knowledge of change management and State PMO methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications Experience managing data governance or enterprise data management projects.
Experience with business process mapping and data cataloging initiatives.
Senior management experience overseeing government technology programs.
PMP certification is a plus.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestones.
Coordinate activities across participating State agencies and stakeholders.
Manage project budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Monitor project deliverables and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Prepare status reports and communicate project progress to leadership.
Ensure project execution aligns with State PMO requirements.
Coordinate deliverable reviews and acceptance processes.
