Responsibilities

  • develops, coordinates, and executes integrated marketing campaigns that advance awareness, reputation, and utilization of FAME’s programs.
  • managing end-to-end digital and multichannel campaigns, with a particular focus on Maine’s business industry.
  • works collaboratively with program managers and the Director of Business Development, this position contributes to the development of marketing plans, campaign budgets, project timelines, marketing tactics, and performance targets.
  • The Officer brings deep knowledge of business-to-business marketing with strength in digital marketing best practices, supporting outreach teams, audience targeting, and performance optimization to ensure campaigns are effective, measurable, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • You will partner with internal teams and external marketing vendors to ensure brand consistency, deliver high-quality campaign assets, and steward audience engagement across digital platforms.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in marketing, with demonstrated experience managing digital campaigns.
  • Experience in B2B marketing or economic-development-related industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and campaigns with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent content writing, copy editing, creative writing, and proofreading skills. Professional level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability develop compelling marketing tactics to meet goals.
  • VIII. Experience working with marketing agencies and vendors.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to interpret analytics and recommend improvements.
  • Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset.
Preferred
  • Graphic design, video editing, and/or digital content creation experience preferred.
  • Digital marketing certification preferred.
