Description

FAME is seeking a highly creative and collaborative individual to join our marketing team. The Marketing Campaign Officer develops, coordinates, and executes integrated marketing campaigns that advance awareness, reputation, and utilization of FAME’s programs. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end digital and multichannel campaigns, with a particular focus on Maine’s business industry.

This role works collaboratively with program managers and the Director of Business Development, this position contributes to the development of marketing plans, campaign budgets, project timelines, marketing tactics, and performance targets. The Officer brings deep knowledge of business-to-business marketing with strength in digital marketing best practices, supporting outreach teams, audience targeting, and performance optimization to ensure campaigns are effective, measurable, and aligned with organizational goals.

You will partner with internal teams and external marketing vendors to ensure brand consistency, deliver high-quality campaign assets, and steward audience engagement across digital platforms.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in marketing, with demonstrated experience managing digital campaigns.
  • Experience in B2B marketing or economic-development-related industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and campaigns with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent content writing, copy editing, creative writing, and proofreading skills. Professional level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability develop compelling marketing tactics to meet goals.
  • VIII. Experience working with marketing agencies and vendors.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to interpret analytics and recommend improvements.
  • Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Graphic design, video editing, and/or digital content creation experience preferred.
  • Digital marketing certification preferred.
