Job Description:

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Glenridge, Augusta

Schedule: Full-time (32 hours/week)

Shift: Days (2p-10p)

Role: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

As a Memory Care CNA at Glenridge, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory-related conditions.

What You'll Do:

• Perform basic patient care activities within the scope of practice, assisting patients with emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Greet patients and visitors. Answer, screen, and route telephone calls. Call codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
• Assist with keeping the unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.

What You Bring:

• Active State of Maine CNA certification.
• Prior experience working with individuals affected by Alzheimer's and dementia is preferred.
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.
