Position: CNA (Long-term Care 11p-7a)

Description

We are currently hiring for a full-time (32/40) overnight shift CNA, on our Long-term Care Village, Eagles Landing.

  • Ceiling lifts to transfer residents from the bed to the bathroom
  • Up to $25.76 per hour base rate for CNAs, based on experience
  • $3.00 evening and $2.50 weekend differential

138 private rooms are divided into household communities of about 12 individuals. Features include wireless internet access, flat‑screen TVs, wireless call systems, and much more. Each household features a comfortable living room, dining room, den, fireplace, and large kitchen. Open floor plans eliminate long hallways as every room opens up to a common space, promoting connectivity and community. All finishes are warm and residential and look more like someone’s home rather than your traditional nursing facility.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an integral nursing team member who provides residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the residents’ assessment and Plan of Care.

CNA Primary

Job Responsibilities:
  • Review care plans and provide care accordingly
  • Identify and honor resident choices in activities of daily living, while maintaining resident safety
  • Communicate with care staff at all levels to adequately meet the needs of the residents

Requirements
  • Must be active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry
  • Ability and willingness to work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers, staff, supervisors, residents and their families
  • Must be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
  • Basic computer skills
